MEET THE CAST OF Hedda Gabler

KATE LOCONTI ALCOCER* (HEDDA GABLER) is excited to return to the D'Youville Kavinoky, where she was seen in The 39 Steps, Mauritius, and A Few Good Men among others.  Most recently, she directed Thirst at Irish Classical, performed at Shea's 710 in RLTP's production of Dial M for Murder, and in ICTC's The Price, for which she won the Artie for Outstanding Leading Actress (her third Artie Award).  Kate has had the great fortune of performing internationally in Spain, London, and Venezuela, as well as nationally at Classic Stage Company, The Goodman, Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare, and Shattered Globe.  Locally, she has worked with many prestigious theatre companies including: ICTC, SIDP, The Kavinoky, BUA, and Theatre For Change, and has been a voice-over artist and theatre teacher for over two decades.  Kate is honored to serve as a full-time Faculty Fellow for Niagara University's Theatre Studies and Fine Arts Department, after proudly holding the position of Executive Artistic Director at Irish Classical. She earned an MFA with Honors in Acting from Columbia University, where she received the Bob Hope Fellowship.  Kate sends endless gratitude and love to her family.  A, S, and L 4E.
